Is a Disney Vacation Worth It? A Breakdown.

We all know a Disney vacation is an investment - both in time and money. Is that time and money really worth it?

When I was growing up, there was a phrase in our house that surfaced anytime we faced a decision on whether an endeavor was worthwhile: “What will you remember in 20 years?” This question became a go-to guide whenever facing those kinds of decisions. It was initially introduced when my family was debating whether my sisters and I should miss a few weeks of school to travel internationally. The answer was always yes.

So, if you find yourself asking this question, if you’re wondering if this trip will be worth the cost, time, and energy to pursue, let’s ask another question: What is getting in the way of saying “yes”?

Overcoming Planning Paralysis

Disney as a vacation can be overwhelming for many. Beyond the cost itself, there are details WITHIN details to secure and make decisions on. For some, those decisions can start to restrict the enjoyment that is driving this whole experience in the first place.

Do any of these questions sound familiar?
  • Do we need to be there at Rope Drop? (what even is a “rope drop”?)

  • Is two days even enough time?

  • What shows do we attend? Do we need tickets for shows?

  • Where should we eat? Which ones need reservations?

These questions are just a few examples and some of the answers have multiple layers. The complexity of these examples is already enough for some to say “no” to Disney before even getting started. But, let’s go back to that original question: What are YOU going to remember in 20 years?

Remember the Fun, Avoid (or Forget) the Stress.

A Disney vacation is more than a trip - it’s a chance to create memories that will last a lifetime. If you are sitting there wondering if it’s worthwhile to work through a few decisions in order to secure a magical experience for yourself, your partner, and/or your family? I feel pretty confident that the answer is “yes”. Let’s get you there.

Charting Your Course

Let’s say you have made the decision. You’re committed to investing in something that you’ll have memories of for years. Now you have to decide how to make the most of that investment. Where/how should you spend your money? Where/how should you spend your time? What experiences should you commit to?

My own personal motto as we’ve planned Disney vacations over the years has been: “the park can either be a master of me, or I can be a master of the park.” This is what we’re offering. We love helping people master the parks so you feel fulfilled by your experiences and confident you got your money’s worth.

An Experience Tailored to You

We recognize that each family and individual is unique, so that path to fulfillment and confidence will look different for everyone. Some families might be concerned about how their child will deal with sensory needs in a space that has large crowds and loud noises. Some might be wondering how they will navigate the parks when they need a wheelchair. Others might wonder how to navigate various dietary restrictions. If you fall into these categories, you know how stressful situations can get when you are dealing with any level of chronic illness or disability in your party.

The beauty of a Disney vacation is there is magic to be found no matter what unique situation you may have to navigate. Whether the obstacle seems like a small inconvenience or a full-on blockade to a magical Disney experience, we can help navigate the inner workings of the Disney system to ensure that - no matter your circumstances - you never lose sight of the magic.

This is What We Live For

When a vacation becomes a Disney vacation, it becomes more than a trip - it becomes a magical memory factory that you and all who you partner with will cherish for years to come. Let us help personalize this experience so you can find the magic and experience the joy that Disney has to offer.

So, NOW what are you waiting for? Let’s help you shed that hesitation, turn it into a resounding “yes!”, and craft a Disney experience that will leave you Wonderstruck.
